Since we are having a baby boy, we are decorating in antiqued baseball. So the colors will be reds, creams, browns, and some blue. I have this whole idea in my mind, so I hope it plays out how I want it to!

I had this frame that I spray painted red to match the room and new this was just the picture that I wanted to place in the frame for the baby(and mom) to look at often! I seriously adore the way it turned out(way better in person than on this photo)!
I can't wait to hang it!

I found this saying sometime ago(and now can not remember for the life of me where). I love it.
So I printed it out, backed it with some green paper, spray painted an old brown frame and the rest is history. I adore it. Such a great saying and way for my family to remember what this season is all about!

Here is some of the gifts that I made for Mike to give away at his job for their secret Santa. these were so easy to make, I just took some dollar store glasses and painted with Martha Stewart's etch paint, the Mr. and Mrs. It was so easy and I loved the way it turned out.

and here is the plate that I made. It reads: "You are special".

I also included a paper covered note book with a clip, popcorn, and a pen.

He gave it to her on Saturday, and she LOVED it!

I made this apron yesterday, for a friend...as a gift

(shhhh don't tell her)

she likes purple, so it was fitting. also she is expecting,

so I made the ties really long, so that when her baby bump gets big,

she still can wear it and look pretty.

I love it, and hope that she does too!

I adore the ruffles along the front of the apron.

For Christmas this year I gave one of my dearest friends this 'date ideas box'. I liked it so much I made one(the pink one) for myself. It was super easy. I got an index card box, mod podged the paper, wrote out date ideas on index cards and placed them into sections:

indoor, outdoor, at home, etc.

it was fun to make and I think she really liked it too!

I just bought some preformed foam trees at the dollar store, and sprayed glue all over them, then rolled and threw on some bright red glitter.

Here is the deal: I recently found this amazing web site called artscow.com, it was a dream. Cheap canvas's, photos, gifts, etc. And to add a plus, for signing up you got all this great free stuff.

So naturally I got together a large order, including some Christmas gifts in which I had designed.

I ordered two weeks ago. Well the purchase never came through, so I got back onto my artscow account to see what was going on. The order never went through, it dropped my card number so it wouldn't process. I was annoyed but thought "oh well, things happen, it's the holidays I'll just put it back in and re-oder it." WELLLLLLL the company is out of Hong Kong so shipping is kinda steep, but I had a 'free shipping' coupon...that was in there the first time I ordered. But wasn't the second time, and it never asked if I had a coupon...but placed my order wouldn't you know! So a $20 purchase jumped to $63.60!!! I'm ticked off to say the least! I will not be using this website again unless they make things right! GRRR I hate when things happen like this! I hate complainers....but this is something that needs to be addressed. I wrote the company an e-mail and called, so I guess I'll see what happens.

So a warning to you all....don't use artscow!

A few weeks back I was apart of a craft swap. I swapped with a sweet girl from Utah. For my gift to her I made this simple yet cute tea towel apron! I was in charge of activity days last Friday, so together with my mom we came up with the idea for the girls to make their own 'Thankful scrapbook journals'. The girls had a blast, and the end results were to cute!

he was cute...but plain Jane, no color at all.

So mom bought him, we brought him home, and I made him all bright and happy again!

So this season I've found a slight obsession with candy corns, I love them!

Here are some corns that I made out of wood.

They were so simple: took some wood, cut it into the shape of the corns, rounded, painted, sanded, raffia-ed!

So I know this is still a bit to early...but I had the vinyl all read cut out and so I decided to just get it done with. it's cute though, eh? I have an even cutter project to do with this saying at a later date to show you! can't wait!

My dad made this shelf a while back....I found it just sitting by its lone-some last week and asked if I could make him mine. Dad said yes and the rest is history!

I spray painted him leather brown and started decorating him up.I love this shelf. He is so large and beautiful!I bought this bird cage at the mini bizarre and sprayed her creamy goodness Then I found this frame at the D.I. it had perfect structure and I knew exactly what I was going to do with it. I brought it home, sprayed it all up cream and sanded her down...lovely!
Then I made this jute wreath simply by wrapping twin around a dollar store wreath.
slipped a ribbon on it and nailed it to the frame.

I love it! and am quite the happy camper!

Crafting has truly become my therapy for life. Well that, zumba, m&m's, and pomegranate 7*up!

They are my joys! They and my hubby, family, and friends are my rocks!

The past little while my mom and I have been crafting up a storm with so many fun things!

We made these fall-ish signs the other day and I think they turned out totally cute....even if mine is just sitting in storage till next year who cares!

They were so easy to make...wood, paint, and vinyl. Easy Peasey!

Then today we made these candy corns...I put mine on a wreath that I tied.

again so easy and fast! plus cheap because I had all the stuff for us on hand! woot!

Halloween decor is a lot of fun to make, who cares if there are mistakes?? that's what this month is all about right? I made this EEK sign the other night, and I think it's so much fun!

It was so easy, and cheap....letters from walmart, Halloween paper, modge podge, ribbon. done.

Anyone else got fall crafting fever??? I DO!!!

My mom and I made these pumpkins a few nights ago, so easy! We took a piece of 2X4 wood, cut it to size (our large one is 14". medium is 11". small is 9"). After that we added cuts down the front for some added detention. Then painted pumpkin orange, let dry. hot glued our 1" and 1.5" brown painted steams, added raffia and tah dah!!!! Done!

I love them.....and they are proudly on display on my entertainment center, even if no one but me and the hubby sees them!

I love Valentines day....

there is something about everyone being happy and showing there love for one another that gets me giddy.

I also love crafting with v-day sayings....

I have been look around for a 'mug holder' off and on for a little while. and I had found some cute ones, but none black and none cheap enough for my budget......until one afternoon I was with my mom and we ran some errands,one being the D.I-I decided I needed to go in....soooo glad I did. I found this stashed away for a mear $2.00 and into my car it went. it was brownish, but that doesn't go with my kitchen...so a $.97 bottle of black spray paint was bought and out of it came this. I really like it, and it works great holding my red mugs! oh how i'm starting to love the D.I-that sounds funny, but I have found some cool crafting stuff there the past few times!

i've also been on quite the monogramming spree...you should see my list of stuff to do with monogramming.

this is the latest project. I have these plates in my kitchen, the top and bottom ones are prints and the middle one is plain black. I was sick of looking at it's boring-ness and decided to have the hubs cut out a 'J' with the vinyl cutter so I could spice the plate up.....good idea megan...thank you, thank you...I know! haha I do love how it turned out though!!

OK ladies...the choice has been made, and the craft has been picked!

I'm officially going to start my own IF Craft Club...or {{C.C}}

I'm super excited...we will be starting in Feb. the date, time, and place will change with the month but the fun and crafting will all be the same!

February's craft is going to be...{drum roll please}...GLASS ETCHING!!!

the craft for the month is going to cost, because sister the glass etch is NOT cheap...but not to worry, depending on how big your 'glass' is the price will either be $5 or $7-10 per project.

this price will include:

your covering{not sure what it is call} paper

and your glass etch

you will need to provide:

your glass item you want to etch

{and if you really don't want to pay, you are welcome to bring your own paper and etch, I'm totally fine with that, just let me know so I can tell you where and what to get}

-there is not going to be a charge every month, but I hope you understand why I have to charge this month.

I got board yesterday, wanted to go to the dollar store....

and came home and made these pretties.

wooden rose's

flower vase, filled with styrofoam heart and crinkle paper.

these projects were so easy, and kept me entertained for a little while.

oh and even better the total cost:

wooden rose's=$3

flower vase's=$2

I already had all the glass vase's...so for $5 i'm a happy girl, and my house is almost ready for valentines day!!!

Do your necklace's almost look like this??? tangled, unorganized, and messy...???

well here is a SIMPLE and EASY craft for you!

all you will need for this craft is:

-an old frame, painted the color of your choice{mine is prettier than it looks promise!}

-chicken wire

-wire cutters

-staples and staple gun

-'S' hookssimply cut and staple to chicken wire to the frame, with the hubs help of course.

hang frame up on designated wall, again with the hubs help.

-place 'S' hooks where you want.

-and add your necklaces!

-Voila!

jars, windows, and doors....

I have this want list, well I have a few want list's...but one is just for home decor/craft item's... these lovelies are on my list!

The past few months I've had an obsession with apothecary jars.....needless to say, they are a lot of money! but i NEED them!!! I hope I can find some soon.....any one know a cheep place I could pick some up from??? aren't they pretty???

I've also had a slight obsession with window and doors.....I found a door today at D.I that I want to make into a coffee table, but I need the hubs help first and that may take a while as he works full time and goes to school full time.....

also, does anyone know where I could find a window? I know you can buy them new...but I don't want to spend that much. D.I. didn't have anything today, maybe another day??

does anyone else ever wish that we had more 'thrift stores' than just the D.I.??? I do!

Hi my name is Megan, and I'm addicted to mod podge....feeew there I said it.

here are a few M.P. projects that I did over the Holiday break:

The box, and Star that sit nicely on a self in my room.

Gotta love the J's{I have them all over my house! haha problem....}

The S-N-O-W blocks that I made with my cricut and some M.P

and yes I know...this is not a M.P. project but I did this as well, I don't really know what people call these.... so, the glass box that lights up when plugged in it is!???

Projects of late....

These babies are magnet boards that I made for me, and for my sisters birthday! super easy mod podge project. My sister-in-law Meliss taught me how to make these puppies...& I fell in love!

simply make or buy a magnet board, get cute coordinating paper, mod podge, a ruler, & some type of cuter{I used my purple cow cutting board}; measure the width and

figure out what length you want. then cut and mod podge your heart out! so easy and super cute!

And finally: this lovely is my FHE board that I made, now I've actually had this one since I got married, but I had to post it...it's super cute and will be great for when we have a family....

and yes I know the things are blank, I don't know how many kids we will have or there names yet, but yes it is hanging in my house in my kitchen and I love it!

I've created this blog mainly for me...but with you in mind as well.

My name is Megan. I'm 21 and I am a Wana-be-crafter.

I've wanted to start a 'craft club' for about 6 months now, but don't know anyone to join. So I thought that this would be a perfect way to share my 'craftiness' with some one other than the Hubs, who is supportive but thinks i'm a tad silly for being so into crafting. I don't blame him, I've taken this whole crafting thing to an extreme, searching{ok ok stalking} other's blogs and finding ideas that I like, and copy them to the best I can, and make them my own. As the hubs is a full time student, money is tight...but there is one thing i've learned, and it is that crafting doesn't always mean going to the craft store and buying lots of stuff...I'm prepared to show you how crafting doesn't mean having money! On this blog, I want to share my ideas as well as other bloggers ideas{but will give them a shout out and the credit they deserve!} I will also share a once a month craft I am doing at the moment...and hope that you join me in the craft! I am also hoping that my 'followers' e-mail me at crafterclub@gmail.com with ideas and crafts they have made, or are working on...in which I will make a post and give credit where credit is due!
This is the first time i've ever done anything like this, and I hope it works!
